RECAP: 49ers 15 Bears 14
If two teams with no playoff hopes play each other, and nobody watches it, did the game still happen? Holy heck, the question is yes, especially with Jimmy Garoppolo finally getting his moment in the spotlight. This was a surprisingly interesting matchup, and one it seemed the Bears were destined to take, especially after that Tarik Cohen punt return TD. The Bears limited the 49ers to mere field goals, which isn't really that impressive considering EVERY team is doing that this season, but Garoppolo at the very least was able to move the ball for the '9ers. The 49ers would score one FG too many for the Bears, after an impressive drive from the 49ers own 8 yd-line. Hopefully, the 49ers have found their man. Let's see if he can score a TD next time around.
